Nova Forever Speculative Project

Re-launching out-of-print magazine Nova as a digital publication. A politically radical magazine in the 60s, Nova was infamous for covering taboo topics, with the re-launch drawing inspiration from Nova’s bold graphic identity and provocative cover concepts. The first issue entitled Skin focuses on themes of the human senses and physicality. This is reflected in the haptic quality of the images, with layouts mixing contrasting visuals to evoke a strong sense of texture and tactility.
